When she put down the phone, I asked her who the caller was. She said someone (must be a client) was looking for her dad.
"So...what did you say?" I asked worrily.
"I told her papa is sleeping,"she answered innocently.
"So what did that person say?"
"She said never mind..."she smile and replied.
Oopssss......what an honest little receptionist!
In her exercise book, she made a sentence using the word -"computer":
"My father likes to buy computer, and he's spent quite a lot of money on it."
As if she's afraid her teacher may not believe what she wrote, she added (真的)(IT'S TRUE)
In her test paper, she got the synonyms wrong.
The correct answer should be 快樂 = 愉快 (synonyms for HAPPY)
Her answer : 快樂 = 玩 (HAPPY = PLAY)

Hi Yuin Ting, ha ha, love your daughter. Kids at this age are really fun....keeps parents amused. And you got an honest kid there too, ha ha.
Love her "its true', re papa's computer.
Have a nice day, keep well, Lee.
That's why they are called "kids", not "adults". I cherish every moment with them!! They are so innocent!
Hi Uncle Lee, kids do speak from their hearts.
Once I volunteered to drive my hubby's car during a family outing. My hubby said I could rest and he'd drive. I smiled and told my kids that their father loved and cared for me.
My elder daughter said, "Well, mom..ACTUALLY DAD LOVES HIS CAR.."
Hi Joyful Mum, through your blog, I can feel how much you cherish your kids and family. You're right, they are so innocent and pure. At times, I think some adult should go back to kindergarten to relearn some basic values :-)
童言无忌,哈哈!
