Wedding anniversary & birthday

1st of June was my 15th wedding anniversary but my hubby & 2 elder kids were sick. No romantic candle light dinner for the couple who have gone through 2 rounds of 7th-year itch (if there's any....ha!ha!)

2nd of June was Tian Huey's birthday (11 years ago I went through a cascerian section to bring her to this world), but she's still having fever and cough. No birthday celebration for my beloved daughter either...

I told them, "being a wife is much easier than being a mother."

Even so, with my 3 wonderful kids and a loving hubby around me, everyday is a celebration :-)

Love is FLUID... flowing swiftly, overcoming barriers.

I'm FILLED with love, and I want to POUR OUT my affection by telling them how much I love them... each and every day.

Xbox Mother's Day Surprise

Don't get me wrong, I was not given an Xbox during the recent Mother's Day. I was instead "invited" by my son to view his special gift to me "inside" his Xbox Halo 3 game. What a surprise!

情人的眼淚 （The lover's tear)

This song is specially dedicated to mom. She always said she wanted me to play her the song but I hardly do so. This afternoon, I decided it's time to record it so that she can listen to it as many times as she wants. I'm thankful to her for giving me the chance to learn this wonderful musical instrument (but my kids are complaining that I force them to learn...).

Being a very busy working mom with 3 demanding kids, I've just realized the last cartoon I drew was in 2008.

However, I know nothing more important in this world than to take good care of my kids.

God cannot be everywhere, that's why he created mothers!

Still A Naggy Mom...

Mother's Day is coming and I decided to extract the following from my Yahoo360 blog entry in 2008. Instead of drawing with pen like my earlier cartoons, I used the computer instead!

Being a mother of 3, I notice (but can’t help it) I tend to elaborate a lot to put a point across, as compared to my hubby. In other words…very NAGGY.

If my kids are playing computer for too long,

I’ll say: “You’ve been playing for so long, you’re going to spoil your eyesight!”

My hubby will just say, “Kids, enough already.”

If they want to skip brushing teeth (especially my son)

I’ll say: “You know those are your permanent teeth. You do not want to be the youngest person to wear denture.”

My hubby will just say, “Go brush teeth.”

Even when I’m elaborating and emphasizing something that my hubby agrees, he still manages to be so short and sweet…

“LISTEN TO MOM.”

Why he can always find 3 words yet my versions are always longer? Hmm…perhaps men are action- oriented, yet women are more emotional…and like to stir up emotion.
