"Masak-Masak" the modern way

I found this mini electric stove that my hubby bought many years ago. When he's working in UK, he used it to cook japanese noodle during cold winter nights.
I decided to let my kids play "masak-masak" (cooking game) the modern way... instead of using fire.

They said it's FUN!

Hello Yuin Ting, you have lovely kids. I guess they get their good looks from their mom.
Good to start kids young about cooking even though its just playing.

A friend of mine, a single father taught his daughter to cook, she only age 9.
She had to stand on a stool too.
By 11, she was a fairly good cook on simple dishes, and cooked for the father.

You keep well and have a great week, best regards, Lee.

Thanks for your compliment, Uncle Lee. Hopefully my kids will grow up with good cooking skills. I only learned to cook when i was 26 years old. At that time my hubby was seconded to US. Sometimes I would call my mom in Malaysia to get her recipe and my hubby would teased me that my dish was truly COSTLY! Ha! Ha!

Being a working mom with a good helper at home, I tried to cook for my family at least once a week ...usually on sunday evening.
